Procertas Partners with the OLP
PROCERTAS PARTNERS WITH THE ORGANIZATION OF LEGAL PROFESSIONALS,
PROVIDING MEMBERS WITH TOOLS TO INCREASE TECHNOLOGY PROFICIENCY
MOUNT PLEASANT, SC, JAN. 17, 2017 — Procertas (www.procteras.com) announced today that the Organization of Legal Professionals will offer the Legal Technology Assessment (LTA) and Trainer’s Edition to their members beginning February 2017.
The OLP plans to offer the LTA to all members via their website at a discounted rate. “We are excited to be able to offer our members a cost effective approach to not only assessing their proficiency levels in basic office technologies, but most importantly to train and validate their learning via Procertas’ LTA and Trainer’s Edition.” commented Chere Estrin, President and Co-Founding Member of The Organization of Legal Professionals.
The LTA is a first-of-its kind integrated benchmarking and training platform pairing competence-based assessments with synchronous, active learning in a completely live environment. “We are all aware of the lack of proficiency across this space and in general, which can be easily resolved by leveraging the LTA to benchmark where people stand in their proficiency, and then offering them a synchronized active learning mechanism like that of our Trainer’s addition.” said Casey Flaherty of Procertas.
Upon the successful achievement of Qualified or Expert Level on the LTA, OLP members will receive a COBOT digital badge issued via Acclaim.
The partnership with the OLP is a significant move in increasing technology proficiency. “It’s through relationships like these that Procertas will become successful in its end goal, which is to create a standard within the legal community, as it relates to proficiency levels of leveraging basic office technology in day to day legal practice. We’re very much excited to tap into the OLP community to give them the tools to make their professional lives easier.” added Flaherty.
Procertas is a new kind of company for an evolving legal marketplace. Their flagship product, the Legal Technology Assessment (LTA), improves quality and increases efficiency by ensuring that legal professionals are properly using the basic technology tools of the their trade: Word, Excel, and PDF. The LTA is a first-of-its kind integrated benchmarking and training platform pairing competence-based assessments with synchronous, active learning in a completely live environment. All clients become COBOT Qualified (Certified Operator of Basic Office Technology) upon successful completion.
